Blow in Blanket for New Construction

Blown in Blanket Insulation (bibs). This can be a good alternative insulation solution if is is properly installed. BIBs is often used a good alternative to spray foam because of it lower costs.

Here is how it works; we pump fiberglass filler or cellulose into walls we have encapsulated with netting. Then we spray blanket insulation into the wall cavity of your house with a hose similar to a fire hose. This may seem simple enough, but it requires a higher skill than spraying foam. .
Note: It is extremely important to install properly when you are pumping fiberglass into your house. If you are not sure of your BIB's installers, we recommend spraying in cellulose even though it costs a little more. Cellulose is denser and lasts without degrading like you will find with fiberglass. This more than compensates for the higher price of using cellulose.
